A few months ago, Fernando Johann invited me to participate on his new endeavor Vacas Volando (”Flying Cows”): A Podcast startup focused on making content in spanish. His idea was to make a podcast about videogames with the same point of view that my blog “Games Are Art” has, and that I should be the host.
I thought it was a great idea, specially considering that I’m not updating this blog very often; and for myself it was going to be a nice experience to see and participate on how a professional podcast is made. Here’s the first episode, and unfortunately for my english-speaking readers, it’s going to be in spanish.
Along with José León Pace we go into an interesting conversation about consoles, Metal Gear Solid and of course: Mario. Hope you like it!

Santi, quería mandarte un mail, pero no lo conseguí, así que te felicito por acá, porque anoche escuche el podcast y me pareció genial. Tener a un procer como vos haciendo algo de eso es algo demasiado valorable, así que voy a estar todas las semanas esperando el podcast para ser ilustrado por tus ideas.
Me gustó muchisimo lo que comentaste del Metal Gear, porque ese momento para mi también fue unico e inolvidable, cosas que solo a Kojima se le pueden ocurrir, tal como habia sido con la mitica lucha contra Psycho Mantis, en el MGS anterior.
Como propuesta, me gustaría que trataras el tema de los juegos de realidad alternativa en el podcast, porque me interesaría muchísimo saber que pensas de estos juegos tan poco comunes.

Me pone muy contento que te haya gustado tanto el programa.. para mi esto es un aprendizaje (creo que tartamuedo un poco en el programa) asi que ya irá mejorando.. creo que esta bueno esto que me comentas sobre los ARG, voy a ver si puedo charlar un poco sobre esto en proximos episodios!

Estaría bueno que hablases de la producción de juegos en Argentina así la gente sabe que se esta haciendo acá.
